This arrangement of Elisha Hoffman's song "This is Why I Love my Jesus" is set to Ernest Rance's beautiful tune. The piece was written to honor Gerry's father, the late Commissioner Harold E. Shoults and was played by the OakBrook Terrace Band at his memorial service.

The original 2016 edition has been newly edited in October 2022 with many improvements to textural elements, and better balance throughout. The demo audio recording is also much improved using NotePerformer 3.
