This processional was written for Gerry and Kathie's wedding and performed by a group of his family and friends. It is scored for brass choir, handbell choir, and organ. The handbell choir was composed of a group of Gerry's cousins, many of whom played handbells at the Mont Clare corps of The Salvation Army. The piece starts with a fanfare from the brass choir and establishes a couple of major motifs used throughout. There is a short handbell feature following this opening. As in many wedding processionals, there is another fanfare announcing the entrance of the bride, followed by a glorious ending section. It comes to a close more softly to transition to more of an attitude of worship, in keeping with the solemn occasion celebrating the union of the bride and groom in God's presence as well as the family and friends who gathered together.
